Consultations are intended for those who wish to better understand available sources, plan further research steps, or work through complex or fragmented family histories.

What Consultations Are For
Consultations may be particularly helpful if you:

are working with incomplete, inconsistent, or multilingual sources,

would like guidance on next research steps beyond a single document.
Consultations focus on research strategy, orientation, and interpretation, rather than on locating a single, specific record.
What a Consultation May Include
Depending on individual needs, consultations may include:

guidance on how to use archival indexes effectively,

assistance in planning independent archival searches,

explanation of archival structures and record types,

support with understanding Polish-language records,

discussion of potential next steps in genealogical research.
Consultations do not involve the sale or delivery of archival documents.

All consultations are based on publicly accessible archival materials and established research practices.
Based on your inquiry, the scope of the consultation is assessed and a proposed date and format are confirmed. After confirmation of availability, a payment link is provided. Payment is requested prior to the consultation. Fee: 90 € per consultation (50 minutes). Payment is accepted via PayPal.
The consultation is conducted online via Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams and focuses on research strategy, source orientation, and interpretation. Consultations available in Polish, English and Spanish.
You receive guidance on possible next research steps and recommendations for independent archival work.
